The LA-based hip-hop experimentalist Flying Lotus will release his third album, Cosmogramma, this spring on Warp Records

When global bass music matriarch Mary Anne Hobbs recently told The Fader “Flying Lotus, for me, is like the Hendrix of his generation” it seemed more then an audacious opinion, and with the arrival of Cosmogramma, it’s revealed as a revelation. In the past couple of years, Flying Lotus has grown into the position of being far more than a producer, he has helped materialize a far-reaching strain of musical ideology that has encompassed not only a global family of like-minded artists, but also a nearly infinite palate of planetary (and interplanetary) sonics.

Marcel Dettmann, a resident at Berlin’s notorious Berghain will release his debut album”Dettmann” this coming April

A solo Dettmann album has been a long time coming: he’s one of the world’s most in-demand DJs, and his Berghain 02 CD one of the most talked-about mix CDs of the last half-decade. In 2007 he released the 2×12″ Blank Scenario, an excellent, agenda-setting collaboration with Ben Klock.

Aswefall to release new album “Fun Is Dead” on Isolering in march 2010
