The Grammy-nominated artist has been producing tracks since 1998, with a number of records on Planet E, Poker Flat, Four:Twenty, and Cocoon. Crash Test will be Buttrich’s first release on Desolat, the record label he and Loco Dice founded in 2007. The album collects eleven previously unreleased tracks Buttrich recorded at his Hannover studio in the past fifteen months.
The release party for Crash Test will take place at the Time Warp festival in Mannheim, where Buttrich will be performing live.

Blurring the line between in-studio production and live presentation, Hybrid is one of the few remaining dance acts to perform live with a classic band setup.
