Canadian James Teej releases his solo album on Radio Slave’s Rekids imprint “Evening Harvest”, a deep debut

‘Evening Harvest’ is a selection Press of material that Teej wrote over a six-month period in the first half of 2009. With an emphasis on deep techno and house, the album is a journey through an array of different musical sounds and moods, with Teej also adding his own soulful vocals to the music. The tracks were written to be deep listening pieces, whilst also being DJ friendly. ‘Evening Harvest’ is the culmination of 14 years spent listening to, DJing, writing and producing electronic music, and represents the diversity of sounds he is deeply passionate about.

German tech house genius The Timewriter has completed his sixth album, due out on Plastic City sometime in April, and entitled “Tiefenschon”

Being the sixth album from Jean F. Cochois, this latest one is a fresh surprise in many ways. First and foremost, he has chosen the German title “Tiefenschön”, wich could be translated as ‘beautiful depth’, but really it is a more poetic way of saying that in the German language. Secondly, he has positioned himself in an altogether different way on a musical basis but still continues in his unmistakeable Timewriter style, and once again proves as a producer his fine feeling for sound and musical arrangement. After a long musical journey beginning in 1994 with his first single and subsequent albums, he now melts together his continuously developing sound with the sound of the good old days. The results are deep and tech house tracks which have a warm old school twist and flavour to them at the same time as totally hitting the zeitgeist.

Deep Deutsch tech ‘n’ house producer Martin Buttrich will release his much anticipated debut album “Crash Test” on March 27 via Desolat

The Grammy-nominated artist has been producing tracks since 1998, with a number of records on Planet E, Poker Flat, Four:Twenty, and Cocoon. Crash Test will be Buttrich’s first release on Desolat, the record label he and Loco Dice founded in 2007. The album collects eleven previously unreleased tracks Buttrich recorded at his Hannover studio in the past fifteen months.

The release party for Crash Test will take place at the Time Warp festival in Mannheim, where Buttrich will be performing live.
